On April 6, 2022, a number of travel writers visiting Tuscaloosa received a guided tour of key stops on the Civil Rights Trail and participated in a presentation on the civil rights movement at First African Baptist Church. They heard from several of our foot soldiers about the event known as Bloody Tuesday.
